Erich Werner 80th birthday

Erich Werner (*1943) studied free graphics at the Städelschule from 1963 to 1968 and became Heinz Battke's master student in 1965. Hanna Bekker vom Rath included the young artist in a group exhibition in 1967 after the sudden death of his teacher. Now Erich Werner is 80 years old. In this retrospective exhibition of earlier and current works of painting and drawing, the path of the artist, who lives in Bommersheim near Frankfurt, from realism to abstraction becomes apparent.
