Born Clifford Holmead Phillips in Pennsylvania, USA, in 1889, the artist who called himself Holmead for short died in Brussels 50 years ago. At the center of the solo exhibition are drawings that have never been shown before and were created during Holmead's
European travels. In addition, his landscapes and portraits, known as “shorthand paintings”, will be presented.
