A stroll through the prominent art scene in Frankfurt in the late 1970s.

Our exhibition combines artist portraits of the photographer Mara Eggert (*1938) and selected artworks by the artists she protrayed.

"In my photographs I wanted to reflect something of the statement of their artworks," Mara Eggert herself describes her approach in the preface to the publication published in 1981.
